I will be visiting the vibrant ‘Mother City”, Cape Town in South Africa, from 3 to 27 February 2014. When in Cape Town I will be staying in the colourful, bohemian district, De Waterkant, in one of the modern, quite slick, apartments at Cape Quarter Living.
I am thrilled at the prospect of revisiting some of my favourite restaurants, like Wakame and Haiku, hanging out at some of the city’s popular LGBT watering holes, like Café Manhattan, Beefcakes and Crew Bar, as well as exploring some of the city’s gourmet destinations, like Neighbourgoods Market, in the upcoming district, Woodstock, and Chef’s Warehouse, in the city.
I am primarily visiting Cape Town for some much-needed R&R but aim to write one or two articles about the charming city.
More on this in a future post…
